Mr Player visited The Marquis Estate in St Lucia on Tuesday 24th March to view the land on which he is designing a signature golf course. The topographical survey has already been done and the initial plan for the course has been drafted, along with positioning of the Gary Player Hotel & Villas. After spending a couple of hours at The Marquis Estate Dave Ames took Mr Player to meet with The Prime Minister of St Lucia, the Rt Honorable Stevenson King. Mr Player was en route from Stewart in Florida to The Dominican Republic where he played in a golf match at Cap Cana.
