Michael McCarthy

Executive Producer

 

Michael made an incredible impact around the world with his critically acclaimed and powerful portrayal of Inspector Javert in Les Misérables, performing in London’s West End, Broadway, Sydney, Melbourne, Shanghai, Dublin and many other cities. He has also performed concert versions of Les Misérables at Windsor Castle, the Royal Albert Hall and European venues with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra.

An accomplished recording artist, Michael has performed as a featured soloist with orchestras around the globe. With rave reviews, his recent performances include the role of Sweeney in Stephen Sondheim’s Sweeney Todd at the Gothenburg Opera House, the leading role of Sky Masterson in Guys and Dolls with the Key West Pops Orchestra and a tribute to Rogers & Hammerstein with the RTE Concert Orchestra in both Ireland and with the Stockholm Sinfonietta, Sweden. He has also performed numerous concerts for BBC Radio’s Friday Night is Music Night with the BBC Concert Orchestra. Michael currently has a music video “Within My World” on Omusic in the role of Dracula and also can be seen on DVD in Lesley Garrett and Friends - Music From The Movies. Michael has a BFA degree in Theatre Arts and ALAM (Hons) from the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.


Stephen Hill

Executive Music Supervisor

  Stephen studied at The Royal College of Music, London and has a wealth of experience in Musical Theatre, concerts, television and recording. He has been Musical Director and Musical Supervisor to an extensive range of West End theatre productions including Les Misérables, Miss Saigon, Cats, Jesus Christ Superstar and Evita.

He has worked with acclaimed musical performers such as Topol, Michael Crawford, Elaine Paige, Paul Nicholas and Michael Ball and has conducted an extensive range of concerts throughout the UK and Europe.

Stephen has been Musical Director to several international artists including Charles Aznavour, with whom he recorded several albums and toured as his conductor and pianist to many of the most prestigious concerts halls in North & South America and Europe.

Stephen is Managing Director of Musicians UK Ltd, one of the UK's foremost Orchestral Management companies. The most recent London productions include The Sound of Music, Spamalot, Grease, Flashdance, The Producers and all UK touring productions of The Phantom of The Opera, Les Misérables, Miss Saigon & Cats. Stephen works extensively in television and recently contracted the orchestra for The Royal Variety Performance at The London Palladium for the BBC.
